Thank you for loving my work. Sharing it with care helps me keep creating. This page explains what you can and can't do with my art, images, and poems.

I own the copyright to my work

I'm Kindra Knight Parker. I created and own the copyright to all of my:

  • original paintings and artwork,
  • photos and images of my art,
  • prints and digital files,
  • poems and written words, and
  • designs, text, and images on this website and my social media.

Copyright protects my work automatically under U.S. law and international treaties.

Buying art does not transfer copyright

When you buy an original painting or print, you own that physical object. You do not own the copyright. That means you can't reproduce or license it.

You may:

  • display and enjoy the art you bought,
  • sell it or give it away as a physical object, and
  • take photos of it hanging in your home and share them on social media for personal, non-commercial use. Please tag or credit me: "Art by Kindra Knight Parker" or @kindraknightparkerstudio.

You may not, without my written permission:

  • copy, print, scan, or reproduce my work in any form,
  • make prints, products, merchandise, or digital files from it,
  • use it in ads, marketing, packaging, or for any commercial purpose,
  • change it or make derivative works based on it, or
  • use it, or images of it, to train, fine-tune, or prompt artificial intelligence.

No AI training or AI use

My art and poems may not be used to train, test, fine-tune, or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning system. This includes image generators and large language models.

You also may not use my work as an input or "style reference" to create AI-generated images or text. Collecting my work with bots or scrapers is not allowed.

This applies to everything on this website, my Etsy shop (KKP Creative Studio), and my social media accounts. The Etsy shop KKP Creative Studio is operated by Kindra Knight Parker Studio.

Poems and writing

My poems are copyrighted, like my paintings. You may share a short excerpt (a few lines) for personal, non-commercial purposes, with credit: "— Kindra Knight Parker." Please link back when you can.

You may not reprint full poems, set them to music, put them on products, publish them, or use them commercially without my written permission.

Sharing on social media

I love it when you share my work! You're welcome to reshare my posts using the platform's built-in share button. If you post an image of my work, please:

  • credit me by name and tag me,
  • don't crop out my signature or watermark, and
  • don't edit or filter the artwork.

Licensing my art

Want to use my art on a product, in a publication, in a business space, or in any commercial way? I offer licenses for many uses. Every license is a separate written agreement. Email me at kindra@kindraknightparkerstudio.com to talk about your project.

If you see my work used without permission

If you find my work copied, sold, or used without permission, please tell me at kindra@kindraknightparkerstudio.com. I take this seriously. I may send takedown notices and take legal action to protect my work.
