"I Have My Own Gravity" is an original abstract painting from the "Everything Ripples" Collection. The Everything Ripples Collection includes water inspired pieces unified in meaning, commenting on the interconnectedness of humanity and demonstrating how our individual states contribute to our shared state of consciousness.

Movement is the foundation of "I Have My Own Gravity". This piece captures a moment of energy and commotion suspended in time. Its inspiration comes from a poem I wrote (also written on the painting's verso):

A MOMENT IN SPACE-TIME.
I don’t revolve around you—
I’m my own entity:
I have my own Gravity.

This piece was created during a period when I was struggling with feelings of inadequacy, constantly reshaping myself to accommodate the expectations of others. Making it became an exercise of stepping into my own power, awkwardness and all, and trusting that I could occupy space on my own terms.

Hidden within the lower right quadrant is a tiny orb encircled by fluorescent rings, nearly invisible unless viewed up close. Though small, it appears to propel itself through the center of the composition, creating the movement and disruption around it.

For me, that tiny entity became the heart of the piece: a reminder that we do not have to revolve around others to belong. We carry our own presence, momentum, and gravity.
