This is one of the first abstract pieces that I created to try to communicate my felt internal experience as an AuDHD woman in the modern world. The painting is abundantly vibrant with vast color fields of heavy texture. This painting is meant to convey the overwhelm of sensory info- the world often feels so bright, so loud, so textured, rich and full of detail. There is at once a burden to processing all this information, but I try to surrender and appreciate the beauty in each piece of sensory information.  Existing in a world where all of my senses are turned up feels like high voltage static electricity running through my veins.
